Are NBA players smudging off their tattoos or is it just camera trick that I see on TV?

I've noticed recently when I watch NBA on tv, a lot of players have smudged off tattoos. At first when I saw it on one player I thought how stupid the player is for not sticking with his tattoo. But then I kept seeing more players with smudged-off tattoos. Wait a minute, that can't be right. So are tv networks censoring the tattoos by smudging them off?

Let's hope the youth and the athletes are removing their tattooes and giving up their rock music. They are showing a dangerous example to impressionable youth. Tattooes frequently cause blood poisoning. You will have to type in to a search engine. I can give you websites but I would be accused of solicitation.
